Data on how children have been faring during the COVID-19 pandemic are limited, but the national 2021 KIDS COUNT Data Book does include some state-level data that give a glimpse into how families with children are faring (as of March 2021). These data were not taken into account for any of this year’s KIDS COUNT rankings.
