New Mexico Voices for Children is eligible to receive donations directly from your Donor-Advised Fund. A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable investment account that a donor opens for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations.
To make a DAF gift, simply provide our Federal Tax Identification number (85-0348301) to your financial institution and request a DAF contribution be made to New Mexico Voices for Children.

New Mexico Voices for Children is a charitable organization eligible to receive Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) directly from your IRA. The QCD amount is excluded from taxable income, and is a direct, tax-free transfer of funds to an eligible charity, such as New Mexico Voices for Children. Any individual 70½ or older is eligible to make a QCD.
Additionally, if you’re age 73 or older (as of 2025) and must take Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), a QCD can count toward your RMD for the year. New Mexico Voices for Children can accept RMDs directly from your IRA custodian. To qualify, certain requirements must be met. Please consult a qualified financial advisor or tax attorney with questions regarding QCD and RMD rules and regulations.
Including New Mexico Voices for Children in your estate plans provides you the opportunity of creating a legacy of helping New Mexico’s children and families.
