New Mexico Corporate Income Tax: Overview and Current Issues

The Legislature will likely take up a proposal in 2013 that would remove most corporate income tax responsibility from corporations that manufacture goods or mine oil and gas in New Mexico. This presentation, created for a hearing of the Revenue Stabilization and Tax Policy Committee, looks at how much damage such a proposal would do to New Mexico’s operating budget.
