Created for a presentation to the Revenue Stabilization and Tax Policy Committee in Santa Fe, this PowerPoint explains why New Mexico Voices for Children works on tax and budget policy and how fairer tax policies can help to lift our children and families out of poverty, and address poor child well-being across New Mexico. This presentation also discusses progress made during the 2019 legislative session, while presenting our policy priorities for an even fairer tax system that benefits families with children in New Mexico.
