The 54th Legislature has ended and Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham signed several bills from the session. New Mexicans will now get discounts on prescription drug costs, have access to affordable health care, health insurance co-pays will be capped.
Here is a recap of the Bills signed by Lujan Grisham that are now law.
House Bill 10 No Reduced School Meal Payment
Sponsors: Rep. Willie Madrid (D-53) and Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-28)
About 12,500 students in New Mexico pay 30 to 40 cents per meal in copayments.
