Biography

I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am the second of three boys. Wen I was very young I lived in Washington, D.C., Ottawa and Calgary Canada, before moveing back to New Mexico in 1995. I attended elementary and high school in the East Mountains where we live. Growing up in a small, rural environment, and reading a lot of books on adventure as well the classics, my vision has always been on something much bigger than my own back yard. Since youth I have been continually convicted of the nexissity of livina life that is others focused. Serving people in practical ways and reflecting my moral convictions in everyday living has become a part ofme. The experience of readhing out to those most in need, at home and abroad, has revolutionized my entire world view. Seeing the suffering of others and knowing what it is to ease that suffering has made me the person I am today.
